Dates To Note

Here are some dates to note for the county Fashion Project.

January 8th by 5:00pm is the deadline to sign up. Contact the Extension Office to register.

January 12th will be a workshop for those interested. Time TBA.

January 26th - Fashion Show at Sadlers Restaurant. Time TBA.

Here is a really neat idea for a T-shirt dress from Ariel, the lead singer from Icon for Hire. Might be a cute idea to make for the fashion/trashion show. This would look very cute with jeans for leggings.

Join us for the Re-Fashion Retreat December 13-15 at the Texas 4-H Conference Center, Brownwood.

The Re-Fashion Retreat features educational sessions conducted by the Texas 4-H Clothing & Textiles youth advisory board member, fashion industry leaders and extension staff. They will be conducting hands-on educational workshops. This new program will focus on increasing your knowledge and skills in the “Trashion Show” and a re-fashioning project. Don’t miss out on a weekend full of fun and exciting activities.

ALL 4H Youth & Adults interested in Food and/or Fashion Projects:

When: Tuesday, September 24

Time: 5:30 PM – just before County Council meeting

Where: County Extension Office Meeting Room

PLEASE pass this information on to individuals that may be interested in these FUN projects!

Congratulations, Amber Dickey!!!

Congratulations to Amber Dickey for receiving 2nd place in the Fashion Show at the D-5 4-H Roundup. Amber is with the Footbridge 4-H Club and represented Cherokee County well. :-)
